Launched in early 2025 by Christopher Garrison Malarick, a photographer and avid backpacker, Face Fabriqué began as a framework for designing his personal outdoor gear for fast and light travel in the Catskills Mountains. Over time, the scope of the project has expanded with new patterns and prototypes that attempt to harmonize form and function, standing up to the rigors of daily living, from city streets to high mountain passes. Each piece is drafted and handsewn in the Face Fabriqué studio in Queens.
